829 Studios is a Boston-based strategic marketing, web development, and business consulting company that helps both B2C and B2B companies connect with better prospects and improve their business processes using digital technology.  We approach each project by identifying business objectives and delivering solutions that are essential to increasing simplicity, efficiency, and sales.  We are passionate about each project we work on and believe that the strategic, creative, and development process should be fun and inspiring for everyone.

What Do We Do Best?

We conceptualize, design, and build award-winning user interfaces  for websites, mobile apps, and internal business systems.  In addition, we provide comprehensive marketing solutions through social media, search engine marketing (SEM), and search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns.  All design and coding is done in our Boston, MA studio, but we often work in conjunction with our clients' in-house programming teams, advertising firms, and PR agencies.

Our portfolio is incredibly diverse - we've had the opportunity to provide solutions for businesses ranging from retail chains to international corporate trade associations.  We typically work with established and emerging growth companies that are looking to expand or improve their operation.  While we don't limit ourselves to any particular industry, we've had extensive experience in the brand licensing, youth programming, and adventure travel segments.  Above all, we enjoy working with entrepreneurial teams who can achieve business success through the solutions we help them create, market, and grow.

Nick Riotto

Nick Riotto - Co-Founder

Nick is a Co-Founder of 829 Studios and works to develop 829’s broad range of media communications services that include strategic marketing, web development, social media, business intelligence, analytics and research.

As both an entrepreneur and business development specialist, Nick ’s areas of expertise include website development, integrated marketing, user interface design, search engine optimization, digital marketing, and social media.

Previously, Nick worked in the Entertainment division at Interpublic Group’s Initiative.  In this capacity, Nick worked with CBS, Showtime, and Lionsgate to create digital media and guerrilla marketing campaigns for high-profile programs like Dexter, Weeds, Jericho, Shark, and more.  Prior to Initiative, Nick held a similar position at ABC Entertainment where he worked in Primetime Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions.  This division developed fall launch campaigns for LOST, Dancing With the Stars, Grey’s Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives.

In addition to 829 Studios, Nick is a Co-Founder of Choice Camps and The Licensing Network.  Choice Camps helps families find summer camps, teen tours, and youth enrichment programs throughout the world and represents over 500 unique programs for kids and teens.  The Licensing Network is a social network that connects brand licensing licensors, licensees, manufacturers and support services.

Nick holds a degree in Communication Studies from the Boston University College of Communication.

Peter Ross

Peter Ross - Co-Founder

Peter began his career in the Private Banking & Investment Group of Merrill Lynch that services the financial needs of ultra high net worth individuals, families, corporations, and foundations. The department oversaw $3 billion in assets for 150 client relationships, including six members of the Forbes 400. Using Merrill Lynch wealth management software to generate reports he organized portfolio evaluations for clients. Working on several personalized financial foundations he met with clients during formal advisory sessions. Peter subsequently co-founded several companies including Choice Camps, 829 Studios and The Licensing Network.

A leader in online search marketing, Peter has created and maintained strategic relationships with a myriad of clients. His areas of expertise include web development, strategic partnerships, web optimization, partner management, project management, competitive analysis and implementation. Specializing in search engine marketing, Peter has connected his clients with thousands of consumers via highly targeted pay-per-click advertising programs, including paid search listings, contextual advertising and paid inclusion. Peter has a proven track record that includes five years of online advertising experience and is known for his creativity in structuring and executing online marketing initiatives.

Peter earned his degree from Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences in International Relations.
